Northern Flickers are colorful and common woodpeckers that you’ll almost always see on the ground hunting for their ants and beetles. Northern Flickers are one of the few species of migratory woodpeckers, which is why you may not see them for part of the year.
Growing up, a pair of Nothern Flickers built a nest in the side of my childhood home. On spring mornings, I would wake up to the sound of baby woodpeckers in my bedroom wall!
The Northern Flicker design will only be available in fall and winter.
The Northern Flicker mug is glazed in a handmade bluish-gray glaze called Misty Morning. Each mug is hand-thrown, hand carved, and hand painted by me. Mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe.
Mugs are 3.5” tall, 3.5” in diameter and hold 10 ounces of liquid. Please note: mug sizes might vary slightly as each one is handmade.
